Welcome to the Selvella, a typical farming hamlet which dates back to the 1700s.
Until fairly recently the hamlet belonged to two farming families, the Pinzi’s and the Santini’s who earned their living from working the fields and raising cattle and poultry.
Over the last twenty years the hamlet has been completely restored with care and passion, transforming it into the ideal place to spend your
holidays, whilst maintaining features and memories of yesteryear.
Set on the edge of the Val d’Orcia in a rural setting between the calanchi or badlands of the Crete Senese.
The Selvella welcomes its guests with true rural spirit, and in a time when human relationships can be distant, purveys that family friendliness and warmth passed down from the Pinzi and Santini family.
Our pool is set in a stunning position overlooking the Crete Senese and Monte Amiata
A free wi-fi network is at your disposal, it’s up to you to decide when to disconnect yourselves from the world….
The Selvella offers its guests genuine, home cooked Tuscan dishes.
